CAD is working closely with protected area services in the co-management of the Bakossi National Park and the Banyang-Mbo Wildlife Sanctuary. Besides actively participating in the development of Conservation and Development Agreements (CDAs) for the collaborative management of natural resources of these protected areas, CAD contributed enormously in the elaboration and implementation of a Hunters’ Engagement Strategy, dissemination of wildlife policy and legislations, raising community awareness on their rights and obligations in natural resource management, as well as in the participatory demarcation of protected area boundaries.
